For hosts
A guest who arrives knowing what to expect leaves a better review. These are the notes that raise ratings fastest for Vietnam homestays and rentals.
What moves the rating
- Send a local guide before arrival: where to eat within walking distance, how to reach the door, and what to skip.
- Name the transport options with prices — Grab estimate, airport transfer, and the nearest bus or train.
- Flag the small realities: street noise until 11 PM, tap water not for drinking, and which SIM works best.
- Give one rainy-day plan and one family option, so a bad-weather day does not become a bad review.
- Translate your welcome note into your guest's language — a two-line check-in message already helps.
